Hovercraft

OK, so if you ignore Owen's completely bored facial expression, this thing is kind of cool. He is actually hovering, Steve's just supporting the leaf blower and directing Owen up the driveway. Pretty easy to make and it doesn't have to be too precise (I just kind of "eyeball" everything, no measuring here.) The driveway kind of eats up the edge of the black plastic. I think using it on linoleum like in a school gym would be less destructive. We're also devising a better way to attach the leaf blower. The kids are a little small and weak to hold it up without popping it out of the hole. Anyone who knows us knows we're not to handy or mechanically inclined, so just that someone was able to ride on it is a great acheivement.
