When we last left, I was wishing you a happy Halloween. I'm not quite sure what happened in November. I know I was sick for a couple of weeks. I wasn't flat out sick, just kind of "I don't feel great" sick. Also, my power button on my laptop stopped working, so I had to wait for Steve to fix it. I was still checking emails and other blogs and stuff from one of the many other computers we have, but my pictures load up on my regular computer and I know that "system" better, so I just kind of waited. Then it was fixed and I still didn't do it. I have a million excuses. You want them all?
One day we went to Bronner's and each of the boys picked out their yearly ornament. Can you guess whose is whose? (Then 2 weeks later Matthew broke his personalized one, so he'll have to wait 'til next year for a replacement.)
Matthew and Owen went to a Christmas parade and had lots of fun. They have led deprived lives. We had never taken them to a parade before. They loved it. Already made plans to go next year too.
Here Owen and Liam are playing with the Christmas decorations. No photo of the actual tree, but notice the stylish footwear Owen's sporting. We followed signs to a place that had $10 trees. They were all great. And pre-cut. It was wonderful. We will definitely go back there next year. We usually go to some farm and hack our own tree down. This was so much better! Definitely done with crawling on the mud or snow to chop some Charlie Brown Christmas tree. This tree looks great and isn't dropping needles at all. Maybe someday it will appear in the background of a pic and you'll catch a glimpse of the magnificence that is our Christmas tree.
This next photo is my attempt to save money. I tried to get a shot of the kids that Steve could Photoshop in some nice snowy ski lodge or North Pole festivities in the background instead of paying some schmuck at a photo studio. The best I could come up with is my 2-year old putting a strangle-hold on his older brothers. You'll have to find out later if I actually get Christmas cards out this year--it's anyone's guess at this point.
And this is our snowman that the boys and I created during a snow day. Only 2 (days off due to snow, not snowmen) so far this year, although today was a a delayed opening. I did take the magic hat and my scarf in the next day. So now he's naked.
And there you have it. The not-very-exciting-but-adorably-adorable Sullivan Boys!!!
