Hot Air Balloons

This weekend is the Danish Festival in town. Every year they have several hot air balloon launches over weekend. This morning Matthew and I (the only ones willing to wake up at 6) went out to the apple orchard where they launch. We walked up to a family team from Wayland. Their balloon is called Rainbow Sherbet. They were really nice and explained a lot about ballooning, which they didn't have to do, because we were apparently supposed to stay by our car and not mingle with the balloon folks, like every other crazy person who woke up at 6 on a Saturday. But I figured we might as well get something out of waking up so early. Matthew was able to touch the balloon and we got some pretty cool pictures. It was really neat to watch 18 balloons set up and launch. Then we bought donuts for the sleepy-heads at home. 'Cuz who doesn't love Klackle's bakery?
