Valentine's Day Bedroom Switch

Matthew and Owen have been going to bed really nicely the last few weeks because they wanted Liam to move upstairs to their room too. So, because there is no school on Friday or Monday (prescheduled days off), I thought now would be as good a time as any to make a switch in the bedtime routine. I decided to "invent" a rolling bed frame so the third mattress can easily fit under Owen's bunk when not being used because trundle bed frames I was finding were close to $200. And then I was supposed to buy a special, slightly smaller trundle mattress to fit. Too expensive. However, as previously mentioned in a few posts (here and here), we are not mechanically inclined. After a trial with blocks of wood that were too big I found a pretty good size (thickness-wise) of wood in the garage to use. Its basically just caster wheels, scrap wood spacers, and a sheet of plywood, but the crappy plywood, that has initials for its name. It cost about $24. It looks like it cost about $24, but that's what you get when I decide to construct. Liam has been waking up fairly early-around 5:45, when I get up to let the dog out. Eventhough he will most likely wake up now with Matthew's alarm at 6, his naps should be easier to live around because his bedroom used to be right in the middle of the main floor. I'm hoping for a smooth transition. And for those of you that haven't visited us yet, we do have 4 bedrooms, the boys wanted to be all together, we didn't force them to be. As far as I'm concerned, it opens up bedrooms for more kids...but that's still in negotiations.
