Visit With Santa

Today we took the boys to the zoo to Santa and his reindeer. There were only 2 reindeer there and they were in a portable fence area. A little lame. Matt and Owen thought all the reindeer would be there and they would be hooked up to the sleigh. We had to explain they were getting ready for the big day and couldn't risk getting injured early. It was a little cold (26) but at least it was pretty sunny and not windy. I was surprised Liam tolerated Santa so well. We tried to quickly do the zoo since it was after lunch and Liam didn't get a nap in the car before we arrived at the zoo. He was getting pretty grouchy. Owen also got grouchy when we were back in the car. O was up late last night (9pm) waiting for Matthew to get home from the hockey game Auntie Abbie took him too. She had won tickets from the radio. So anyway, Owen, in his grouchiness, stuck his tongue out at me for telling him to stop whining, and then he fell asleep. With his tongue sticking out.
