I was reminded today that I haven't posted anything new lately. We had the wonderful stomach flu (Owen puked his lunch up on the table at school) the week before Thanksgiving. I had it that night, then Steve the next night. Matt and Liam were lucky to not get it especially since Liam drank some of my soda at lunch the same day I ended up with it a few hours later. Gotta love preschool for spreading germs. I wonder how many Owen infected...
It snowed (and stayed) for the first time Thursday night, into Friday (yesterday). Elementary schools ended up cancelled, but since Matthew follows the high school schedule, and those busses were already on their routes, he still had school. We pay the daycare rate at Owen's school since he stays until 2pm, so I took him to school too. I went shopping with my mom and sister and had the soup and salad lunch at Olive Garden. Friday night my sister-in-law, Allison, invited me to a ladies desert at her church so I went down to Kalamazoo and had some fun without any of my children.
Today was a great day to get a Christmas tree. Picture perfect. Except I didn't put the memory card in the camera and I don't know how to get the picture off the internal memory and on the card so I can post it. You'll have to settle for this photo after the tree is up and decorated by my little helpers. The older two really did most of the work. We went with Marm and Aunt Abbie.
Supposed to get some snow and freezing rain the rest of the weekend into Monday, I think. I guess winter is really here to stay. Matthew and Owen don't care though since the plow guy pushes all the snow from the cul-de-sac onto our side. Their own personal snow hill is starting to grow.
