Snapping Turtle

Our power came back on around 10pm last night, so that was good. Luckily Steve had gotten the DVD player for the car tested and ready for our trip in a few weeks so the battery was fully charged and we watched some of "The Office" DVDs we are borrowing. This morning I found a new friend in our backyard. Steve boxed him up and I took the kids and Nani, who was here to hold the ladder while I painted the stair area, to drop him off where we took the moles for swimming lessons. This guy, however, definitely passed his swimming test. He couldn't wait to get out of the box and into the wild again. I guess all the rain confused him or something. Owen wants him to come back and visit again.
