Happy Birthday Liam

Today is the big day. Two years ago we received one of the greatest gifts we could ever imagine. Liam was born and given to us. To be able to be present at his birth was an amazing experience I didn't have with Owen or Matthew. (I guess technically I was there with Owen, but we were too busy praying he would live to experience anything about his birth. Better to experience a birth as not the birther.) Tonight Nani and Aunt Abbie came over for dinner. Burgers (the kids had hot dogs), cole slaw, potato salad, veggies, chips, and chocolate cake and ice cream of course. Let me just say that I'm glad it was only my mom and sister here because between Owen's "hiney of death" noxious fumes and somehow shooting a chunk of hot dog into my mom's soda, and Matthew's musical percussions from eating a can of baked beans for a snack yesterday, and Liam's table manners, dinner was joke. I guess we'd better start working a little harder on those table manners. But it was all pretty funny. Thanks to the Aunties and Uncles and Cousins that sent up presents with Nani over the weekend. We will be bubble blowing and coloring for a few days at least. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIAM!!!
