Matthew's Birthday

I can't believe Matthew is 9 years old. One year away from "double digits." Yikes! When did that little boy we used to have turn into a big kid? Matthew doesn't like cake, or cupcakes, or ice cream cake, so I made him birthday brownies. We gave him an iShuffle (green) a day early. I thought we were going to take him out to dinner at Applebees or something, but he only wanted McDonalds (yuck). We were going a day early because we have all the kids tonight and birthday dinner out with 7 kids didn't seem that enticing. I bought 6 dollar store things for each of the kids to give him tonight, after his birthday brownies, an Ironman poster, green headphones, "Office Party Dance Songs" CD, you know, general junk. When I said "goodnight," to him he told me it was the best birthday ever. I am lucky my kids have low expectations.
