Monday night we took care of almost all the leaves. Yesterday the boys were having fun jumping in one of the piles. There are still more leaves to fall but I'm hoping the wind kindly blows them to the neighbors' yard. We're going to "pick candy," as Owen likes to say, at the businesses in town after school with some friends then I'll drive them to the 3 or 4 houses on our street that have their lights tonight, after dinner. Ghost costumes, not the wisest choice for walking at night, except that white is easier to see. The kids can't see where they're going so well and Owen keeps tripping on bottom. And we have no street lights.
